Rudger was founded by Brett Rudger Wilson and his sister Lisa Hill, with a simple goal: make camping gear that helps people enjoy the outdoors more comfortably, more reliably, and with fewer compromises.

Brett is a lifelong camping enthusiast, an Eagle Scout, and a father who loves spending time outdoors with his young kids. Over the years, he found that a lot of camping gear was either poorly made, overly complicated, or not designed for real-world use. After too many cold nights, worn-out bags, and gear that didn’t live up to its claims, he decided to start building products the way he thought they should be made.

Rudger was created to design gear that is durable, practical, and comfortable enough to make camping something you look forward to — not something you tolerate.

We believe camping should be one of the best experiences you can have with your family and friends. Whether you’re sleeping under the stars for the first time or you’ve been camping your whole life, our goal is to make equipment you can trust so you can focus on what matters most: the experience.
